        Grand Rapids Restaurants

Two unique factors make Grand Rapids dining extra special: We're located in the middle of one of the world's best growing regions. And we're home to one of America's finest culinary schools. The result is an astonishing variety of fresh, farm-to-table cuisine for every taste and budget - downtown, around town and along the lakeshore.

Michigan’s COVID-19 restrictions impacting restaurants have all been lifted, but some establishments are still ramping back up to full operation. Check restaurant websites to confirm business hours and safety measures. Many restaurants have expanded their outdoor dining spaces and carryout/delivery service.

What safety guidelines are restaurants following?

During the pandemic, the Kent County Health Department developed very specific health and safety guidelines for food service businesses to follow, building on advice and input from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Restaurant Association, Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association, and West Michigan COVID-19 Business Coalition. Many restaurants continue to follow these cleaning and sanitizing guidelines.
